Elite Demolition and Excavation completed a complex partial demolition and bulk excavation project at the St Andrew Anglican Church in Roseville, located on Sydney’s North Shore. As a trusted demolition contractor in Roseville and Greater Sydney, our team was engaged to carefully remove key structural elements as part of a major site redevelopment. The scope of works included the partial demolition of roof tiles, timber trusses, brick walls, concrete suspended slabs, footings, and reinforced concrete piers. Due to tight site access and surrounding residential properties, all demolition materials were removed using rigid trucks only, requiring detailed planning and precise on-site coordination. To minimise dust and noise disturbance for neighbouring properties and the local community, full perimeter scaffolding was installed around the building. This also allowed our team to manually dismantle the roof structure by hand before mechanical demolition works could safely commence — a critical requirement for this sensitive inner-suburban demolition project. In addition to the demolition works, our team completed approximately 400 cubic metres of bulk excavation, along with detailed excavation for new footings and a lift pit. Using modern machinery and highly experienced operators, we delivered the project efficiently while maintaining strict safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
